The Lebanese Ladies Society last Saturday held their annual charity Bazaar, for the sole purpose of generating funds to help the underprivileged one in the Nigerian society. The Charity Bazaar was a Nigerian fiesta of creativity, as the exhibition featured the finest in Nigerian art, craft and fashion, with some Lebanese creativity and entrepreneurship thrown in. The Nollywood presence was also felt at the bazaar courtesy of Glo as Uche Jumbo,Funke Akindele Oloyede and Monalisa Chunda was present to add a little glitz and glamour to the fanfare atmosphere.

Susan Abor Matar, the president of the Lebanese Ladies Society told the National Daily crew that in the last two years, they had raised and given out  thirty-five million naira to various charities as a result of the charity Bazaar. The Lebanese Ladies Society is a registered  organization since1994, dedicated to meet the needs of the less-privileged Nigerians.

According to Susan Abor Matar .the Lebanese ladies society, has been able to help approximately fifty Charity organizations, with a total of 130 million Naira, through its Yearly events: which consists of  the Lebanese Bazaar, Small World , Smaller World and Gala dinner (every 2 years)

The charity Bazaar was sponsored by Glo, Airtel, Etisalet, Power Horse, and other brands who showcased their products at the exhibition and provided several gift items to be worn by those who bought tickets to contribute to the worthwhile cause.
