Runway To Red Carpet: Singer/Songwriter Waliyah, In A 'House Of Marie' Monochrome Dress At The 2014 AMVCAs

Last Saturday 8th of March at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites, we witnessed the biggest movie awards ceremony in Africa. The 2014 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs) ceremony which was broadcasted live on TV screens across Africa brought out the hottest stars in Nollywood and Entertainment to celebrate the best films of 2013.

Among the stars we spotted was Nigeria’s Next Top Diva-Singer/Songwriter –Waliyah. Waliyah looked super glamorous in Nigerian design brand- House of Marie monochrome dress that was showcased at the 2013 GTB Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

Styled by celebrity Stylist Zedeye, the dress was paired with a black D&G vintage fringe clutch bag and precious stones diamante earrings and cocktail rings from Le Reve Pieces. Her look was completed with black strappy ankle sandals with gold detail, while makeup was done to perfection by celebrity makeup artist Elaine Shobanjo of Shomya with hair carefully styled in a side curly bun by Zedeye. 

Waliyah totally slayed the look, we love the attention to detail. We think she’s definitely one to watch in Nigerian music and fashion.
