Last Saturday Mrs Maureen Reece emerged winner of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Trophy at the prestigious
Lakowe Golf and Country Estate,wining the coveted chance to be a personal guest of Johnnie Walker, at Perthshire’s esteemed Gleneagles Golf Course, Scotland’s historic biannual Ryder Cup and donning the
Mai Atafo Inspired Bespoke Jacket made especially for the winner.

According to Mrs Maureen Reece, "I started golf to slim down and keep in shape. It's a great shock to me that I won but at the same time,I've always been on the leading board from the beginning of the tournament. I had a little hiccup today because I've been away for two months with no practice but I just left it for God and did my best. In the past I worked hard for it but today, I think it was just a gift from God, a privilege and a shock"
The second runner up was also a lady Dutch-born Roxanne Dolhain in the second position

The event was a laid back affair with the casual glitz associated with the elite sport

The golfers, friends, family, media crew, bloggers and fans were not kept hungry, as an elaborate array of both local, intercontinental and oriental dishes was served buffet style with lots for deserts,cookies and cakes to soothe any sweet tooth.
The Johnnie Walker blue and Gold label reserve was served to deserving guests while an array of cocktails, baileys cream and gin were at anyone beck and call.
The theme everyone a winner, was not an understatement as the raffle draws held at the event, made over fifteen golfers smile home with Samsung phones, tablets, dinner for two at rhapsody, Johnnie Walker gold label reserve and international travel tickets and more.
The Awards segments saw all the winners from round one to the final rounds collect their awards, trophy and wins amidst wild applause, hearty felicitations and friendly rivalry.
