Zimbabwean British designer, Farai Simoyi, is a women’s line, fashion label that designs for the trend setting cosmopolitan. The clientele includes young fashion forward women who are worldly thinkers and are aware of global issues that are changing the fashion, music, and film industries among many others.

 Farai Simoyi will showcase Friday, July 13th at Africa Fashion Week New York (AFWNY). AFWNY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adirée, will take place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12th, 13th, 14th in New York City’s financial District.

The British designer of Zimbabwean decent has been named “Breakout Designer” and “The Next Best Designer” over the years. In September 2010, Farai Simoyi revealed her new brand “FARAI” — a representation of soft, steel, and bohemian and also a symbiotic juxtaposition of the styles and experiences gained in Africa, Appalachia, Europe and the streets of NYC: woman, warrior, wayward traveler.
