On Wednesday, Iconic Beauty Queen and former Miss World turned Fashion-preneur, Agbani Darego open the doors to the AD Showroom to members of the Press. Opting for minimalism in her personal style, showroom and products, AD by Agbani Darego, embraces a luxurious and chic aesthetic that’s affordable with cuts and styles that are flattering to a range of body types and silhouettes.

An intriguing feature in the showroom is the denim bar which is an interactive space for customers and provides them with an intimate experience of the products.
According to Agbani “It is a line that caters to the ease we require of our personal style and it is intuitive to our body, style and pocket needs”

Speaking with the renowned beauty queen and fashionista after the unveiling, I was intrigued by the apparent play of grit and business acumen inherent in the dark skinned beauty who some easily write off, as a style fluff.
Products available include its range of Jeans, Bags and its Zip front Shirt Dress. Named after the
Nigerian woman, the Jeans come in four styles; Bola- “Trouser Leg”, Aisha-“Classic Cut”, Ify-
“Boyfriend Jeans”, Nosa-“Skinny Jeans” and in a variety of washes. More products including the AD
Polo’s & Tunics will be introduced to the line.
