It’s just 96 hours to valentine and some of us are still uncertain about what to wear for our special date night. I got asked this question today, ‘is it compulsory to wear red on valentine day?’ my standard answer to this predictable yearly question is, ‘not exactly’. The color red, is traditionally associated with extreme or powerful emotions, for instance, passion, which is why it’s mainly associated with the feast day but other colors like pink (which demotes affection and tenderness) and white (which demotes purity and depth of feeling) are perfect colors to wear on your big night. The trick to looking fabulous on valentine day is to wear what make you feel and look great regardless of color.
