Our style star of the week is none other than Fashion-It
girl Toke Makinwa, bestselling author of the book ‘On BECOMING’, Television
personality, Vlogger, OAP, budding Nollywood star and undisputed
glamazion. Toke Makinwa come under our
style radar in 2012 at the Arise Magazine Fashion Week Nigeria where she
thrilled us on the carpet interviewing interesting individuals for Flytime, in
a monochrome pink sequined skirt and cotton top ensemble. Simple and yet super
chic, she caught our interest and since then she has never disappointed.
Her style game skyrocketed with the successful launch of her
book ‘on Becoming, her subsequent world book tours and new deal as brand
ambassador Ciroc Nigeria. Her love for the colour Yellow and dark green just
goes to show her knowledge of the best hue that makes her skin pop! Her
formidable style team comprises of Harvella Styles and Anita Brows Anita Brows.
