Nigerian Fashion Brand Öfuurë, Debuts Its First Footwear Collection

Nigerian Fashion brand ÖFUURË, debuts its first footwear collection titled the ORIRI. Established in 2015, the women-wear line is famous for creating fabulous ready to-wear clothing and swimwear.The new footwear collection ORIRI which means ‘Glory’ features 3 great boot styles made in Ankara and Kente Fabrics namely, IDARA, EKAN and DUNNIE. 

According to the brand creative director, founder and lead designer Tehilah Abakasanga ‘With ÖFUURË I’m always trying new things. I’ve always wanted to create my OFUURE shoe line, and I knew I didn’t want to do just anything. Living in Toronto where it’s cold about 5-6 months a year, boots are a staple in every women’s closet. With my boots, comfort is essential to me. I also wanted the collection to feature big bold prints that would definitely make the wearer stand out.
